Rubber Fab Granted Patent for X-Ray-Inspectable
Rubber Fab has been granted a patent for their X-ray
opaque polymeric materials, which complements their existing patent for metal-detectable gaskets. The new patent is a
fundamental part of the Detectomer® portfolio from Rubber
Fab, which encompasses a full range of detectable sanitary
gaskets and O-rings. These products provide food manufacturers with enhanced functionality, allowing them to reduce
their process risks through better detection of nonmetallic
PolySkope Labs Receives AOAC Certification
PolySkope Labs has announced that it has received AOAC
Research Institute’s Performance Tested Method Certification for its revolutionary PolySkope 1.0 modular, multiplex
pathogen detection kits (Certificate no. 041801). This initial
approval certifies that PolySkope 1.0 is equivalent to standard
reference methods for the detection of all target pathogens in
ready-to-eat deli turkey, raw ground beef, fresh spinach, and
stainless steel environmental surfaces. PolySkope 1.0 can now
be used by ISO 17025-accredited labs in the U.S. and certain
